The panel presents a series of papers based on longitudinal data from the Family and Community Health Study (FACHS) concerning the social determinants of health biomarkers. The papers investigate the various explanations for the adverse health profiles of young adults with histories of antisocial and criminal behavior. The papers generally consider the role of lifestyle and dietary conditions and social psychological mechanisms.
