Abstract

This roundtable will discuss racialized, gendered, and class themes present in the Netflix original "She's Gotta Have it." This roundtable will discuss the ways in which social narratives centered on the policing of Black women's bodies, reproduces violence against Black female bodies in both social and legal contexts.
