Roundtable: The United States Marshals Service and Academic-Practitioner Partnerships

Abstract

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) will share information about the recent process of creating a research consortium formed between the USMS and several academic institutions and scholars. In addition, the USMS and their consortium scholars will share examples of the research and insights that have come from the partnership to date. In discussing these two topics, we offer ideas relevant to engaging in efficient, effective, and valuable partnerships between academics and practitioners.
