This paper presents an evaluation of the implementation of a day reporting center in a rural setting. The evaluation addresses the challenges of establishing evidence-based programming, coordinating researcher-practitioner partnerships, and results from a quasi-experimental assessment of offender recidivism. Implications for future studies of enhanced probation are discussed.
