This study reports on evaluation data from two pilot sites in California – Los Angeles and San Francisco – that have recently implemented the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) initiative. Our presentation, the product of the largest evaluation of LEAD ever conducted, shares preliminary findings focusing on recidivism and treatment outcomes.
