In 2019, the 25th anniversary of the Białystok School of Criminology will be celebrated. The results of the work conducted at the school include numerous academic degrees and titles obtained on the basis of interdisciplinary research conducted there. During the twenty-five years of the School's existence, a number of structural changes have taken place in the currently existing Department of Criminal Law and Criminology. In 2018, two Institutes were established: Institute of Criminal law and Institute of Criminology, in addition to the Forensics Laboratory that had existed before. Approximately 40 students obtained doctoral degrees and over ten students - degrees of habilitated doctor. Also, two full professors joined the staff of the School. The chronicle of the School's activities is an integral part of the monograph written by its Founder, Professor Emil W. Plywaczewski.
