Session Submission Type: Complete Thematic Panel
Mentoring relationships can be invaluable in the personal and professional development of scholars. They can be influential as a support system and provide access to networks that might otherwise be inaccessible. For scholars from diverse backgrounds, such relationships can be challenging to identify and/or create. This panel will include scholars of Color from various backgrounds including race and ethnicity, career trajectory, current role, discipline, and research and teaching experiences. They will share their experiences as a mentor and mentee and share what they deem salient advice for up-and-coming scholars of Color.
