Abstract/Description

Research in victimology includes many specific concerns. These concerns often center around the protection of participants, privacy, and data collection on sensitive topics. This roundtable will discuss strategies for research in the area of victimology including tips for submitting an IRB, how to protect the privacy of participants, secondary data, and other related issues. Discussants include individuals from a wide range of academic positions, offering different perspectives on research in this area.
