Abstract/Description

Today there are hundreds of HBCU undergraduate criminology/criminal justice (C/CJ) programs with varying names and foci. More than twenty offer traditional and online graduate programs and two offer doctoral degrees. The purpose of this roundtable is to discuss the future of graduate studies in criminology/criminal justice at HBCUs and the need for a Criminal Justice Consortium (CJC). The roundtable will include discussions on mutual support, partnerships, CJC funding, and other related topics. Participants are encouraged to share their thoughts and comments.
