The Community Research Team is a group of 30+ researchers primarily from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD who conducted the "Community's Experiences and Perceptions of the Baltimore City Police Department Survey". This presentation offers moments of reflection based on two periods of data collection - Time 1 (September 2018- June 2019) and Time 2 (September 2021 - May 2023). The community survey is a requirement whereby the city's police department is under a federal consent decree. Findings from both time 1 and time 2 will be presented within a discussion about the importance of the proposal, training, the experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the overall experiences of the research team.
