Cutting Life Short

• In Event: The Changing Landscape of Life Sentences: Institutions, Policy, and Lived Experience

Abstract

Wyoming has experienced significant growth in the number of lifers. Cutting Life Short provides an in-depth examination of how the lifer population in Wyoming has grown since the mid-1980s. The book challenges the narrative that people who have committed murder or other serious crimes should never be released.
