Session Submission Type: Roundtable
Environmental history continues to grow and thrive as a sub-discipline via the organization of scholarly networks around the world. Regional environmental history networks and organizations across the world have helped to develop the field and spread its influence internationally. This round-table session brings together four scholars with experience coordinating environmental history networks from different parts of the world. They will discuss the origins of their networks, some of their activities, their challenges, and their views on the future of scholarly networking for environmental historians. Topics of discussion will include the use of the web, conference and workshop organization, and innovation in scholarly networking.
