Abstract

This manuscript details a qualitative study examining how Latinx faculty members’ educational and professional experiences shape their current practices in academia. Drawing on the theories of funds of knowledge and institutional/empowerment agents, this study recognizes and validates the experiences and contributions of Latinx faculty in creating equitable higher education institutions.
