Thu, November 15, 2:15 to 3:30pm, Tampa Marriott Waterside, Floor: Second, Grand Salon C

Abstract

This qualitative inquiry of a study abroad program for 10 students from Minority Serving Institutions investigates how the program illustrates principles of cultural relevance outlined in Museus’ CECE model. The findings point to strategies that might be used in the development and facilitation of study abroad programs for diverse audiences.
