Teacher Preparation in Community Colleges: Seeking Equity in Diverse Geographies

Abstract

With more than 50% of P-12 teachers completing some education in the community college, these institutions have a significant role to play in preparing a diverse teacher workforce reflecting the communities they serve. This presentation will address recent and relevant scholarship on the community college role in teacher education.
