Fri, November 16, 11:15am to 12:00pm, Tampa Marriott Waterside, Grand Ballroom Foyer

Abstract

A key question in higher education is how to regulate the access without (further) diminishing social mobility. By evaluating the introduction of access restrictions in Austria, the research project seeks to understand how access regulations influence the social selectivity (regarding social background) in university choice, admission and retention.
