This study explores AAU university websites for dual-career academic hiring policies, and analyzes the delivery and messaging of these policies using Spence’s (1973) signaling theory. The results will help administrators more effectively communicate their policies, which will further their faculty recruitment efforts and improve academic climate at their institutions.
