The erasure of Blackness and role of Antiblackness in the Construction of Higher Education Latinidad

Abstract

In this scholarly paper, I expand on the construction of Latinidad in higher education by offering a conceptual analysis to examine the erasure of Blackness and antiblackness with Latinx literature. I demonstrate how this literature often erases Blackness and/or does not address antiblackness and in so doing perpetuates antiblack ideology.
