BEA2010 Research Symposium
Thursday, April 15, 2010
Las Vegas
If BEA is the association for professors, industry professionals and graduate students who are interested in teaching and research related to electronic media and multimedia enterprises, then BEA's annual convention is the place that brings all these leading researchers together under one roof. Each convention focuses heavily on electronic media research in a variety of ways by providing attendees with the platform to showcase, discuss and learn about the latest research.

Sports Media: Transformation, Integration, Consumption
Now in its 3rd year, the research symposium is a thematic approach to exploring cutting-edge research in our field. We are honored to have Andrew Billings, Clemson University as the chair of this year's symposium. Paper Competitions
BEA's 17 interest divisions invite scholarly papers from academics, students and professionals for presentation at the convention. Each division selects up to six papers - four for presentation and two as alternates. In addition, a few papers may be selected by divisions for consideration in the Scholar-to-Scholar (poster) session and Rapid-Fire Research. Some winning papers receive monetary awards to help defray the costs of attending the convention.
