An inclusive education needs a complex strategy starting in the teacher’s training. Some concepts such as the nature of the pedagogical diagnosis, the methodological conception of educational technology and the school organization are fundamental to this goal. The implementation of a program to account for diversity in the classroom and the design of educational policies scientifically grounded at Pedagogical University Enrique José Varona is presented here. The impact of the results and the challenges faced by the proiect are also discussed.
