The collaboration between the neurosciences and education have had ups and downs. The Neurosciences Center of Cuba has designed a program of attention to neurodevelopment aimed especially at children of school age. To this end, the teacher has been provided with tools for the detection, evaluation and intervention of the basic neurocognitive abilities that underlie learning. This program aims to protect the mental capital of the country.
