This paper examines the use of blockchain as a disruptive technology to enhance sustainable supply chains. Through content analysis of 78 articles obtained from multiple databases and reputable journals, the study explores the impact of blockchain features such as traceability, transparency, smart contracts, accountability, trust, immutability, anti-fraud, and decentralization on promoting sustainability. The findings reveal that these features improve organizational efficiency in operations, transportation, and production, leading to cost reduction and reduced carbon emissions. Furthermore, blockchain technology fosters customer trust in products. This research highlights the potential of blockchain in advancing sustainable practices in the supply chain.
