This study presents mobile application (App) innovation that responds to a multi-embedded supply chain coordination problem linked to people, profitability and environmental management in Africa. Using a design science methodology, a quantitative computer programming approach the application was developed. The experimental research strategy reveals a functional mobile application that responds to the needs of the multi-embedded supply chain coordination problem related to the grocery. Theoretically, the innovation extends crowdsourcing frameworks beyond what might normally be expected of coordination theories and profitability, reduction of congestion and environmental sustainability.
