Insuring Autonomous Vehicles: Perspectives from Operations Management

Abstract

The objective of our study is to model issues related to the insurance of autonomous vehicles. We use optimization and game theory to generate insights about monopolistic and competitive markets. Our models allow us to characterize equilibrium, analyze its properties, and provide useful insights.
