The rising importance of supply chain management calls for well-prepared managers. This study shares insights from utilizing concept mapping/systemigrams in undergraduate and MBA classes to enhance students' understanding of supply chain complexities. The hands-on approach fosters identification of key components, visualization of relationships, and recognition of dependencies, facilitating a comprehensive system understanding. Moreover, it helps identify potential risks in the supply chain. The article offers an overview of concept mapping exercises, guidance for classroom integration, and investigates its effectiveness as an interactive teaching tool.
