ISME 29th WORLD CONFERENCE 1-6 AUGUST 2010

The purpose of the 29th ISME World Conference 2010 is to foster global understanding and cooperation among the world's music educators, by strengthening ties and sharing ideas about different aspects and issues within music education, in ways that promote music education for people of all ages throughout the world. The conference will have relevance for school and studio music teachers, university academics, music researchers, students of music, and other interested parties across all areas of music and music education.

DEADLINES
The deadline for submissions was October 1 - submissions are no longer being accepted.

Applicants will be notified of the results of the review process for presentations on or before February 28, 2010. Applicants will be notified of the results of the review process for publication in the proceedings on or before March 31, 2010.

ISME Commission Seminars - China, August 2010

Each of ISME's seven Commissions (Research, Community Music Activity; Early Childhood; Education of the Professional Musician; Music Policy-Cultural, Educational and Mass Media; Policy, Music in Schools and Teacher Education, and Special Education: Music Therapy, Music Medicine) will hold a pre-conference seminar in China.
