The Political Influence of E-Commerce Unicorn Companies in Argentina

Abstract

With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution, production methods supported by cutting-edge technologies such as big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence have revolutionized the development of all industries in various countries. Many of the emerging unicorn companies are driven by informatization and intelligence. The internal operating mode of the industry, the original resource allocation method and the form of social organization have all undergone earth-shaking changes. The rise of such new technology companies mostly rely on the digital economy. They merged into the daily lives of different social groups in society, and even get involved in the political field.

In Argentina, with the improvement of network infrastructure, the digital economy has entered a stage of rapid development in the past decade, but it also faced many difficulties along the way. With the vigorous development of unicorn companies and the growing strength of this part of the economy, the Argentine government needs to think deeply about the way in which it should live in harmony with this part of society.
