Wages and labor negotiations in a revolutionary period in Mexico: 1924-1940

Abstract

In this paper, we show evidence of working-class labor negotiations in Mexico in a revolutionary period: 1924-1940. Real wages and welfare conditions was a successful strategy due to union policies more than economic growth or productivity increase in this period.
