Educational outreach initiatives by institutions across the U.S. are increasingly utilizing vast library collections and university-level research to enrich and internationalize K-12 and community college curricula. This panel addresses a sampling of the creative ways in which Latin American Studies programs are expanding access to university resources to promote diversity in higher education, support Minority-Serving Institutions, and provide K-12 and community college teacher-training activities related to the study of Latin America.
