Abstract

In this panel, a more critical and speculative approach will be taken to address the challenges faced by sustainable development initiatives and their leaders. Which are the opportunities and limitations for sustainable development in Latin America? In particular, when technology makes human labor less necessary and it has a disruptive role in traditional means of economic production. This leads us to discuss about what will be the new skills a social responsible leader will need in the coming decade. To finalize, some lessons in disruptive leadership will be offered from the unlikely field of classic music where some of their most representative musicians were disruptive leaders.
