Session Submission Type: Symposium
This symposium shares findings from three qualitative research with families and teachers engaging in family literacy projects in the Southwestern part of the U.S. and in northern México. These studies include: a study of ten classroom teachers creating their own family literacy projects, an action research study of two home literacy projects created in collaboration with Mexican parents’ feedback, and a case study of a bilingual writing workshop for Latina mothers and their adolescent daughters.
