Session Submission Type: Symposium
This symposium session includes international research studies focusing on autobiographical teaching and literacy pedagogies as well as indigenous, translingual and cross-cultural perspectives for literacy in global contexts.
Presentations are related to the books “Redirecting the Flow of Knowledge across Languages and Cultures: Autobiographical Teaching and Literacy Pedagogies” and “Literacy pedagogies in global contexts: Indigenous, translingual and cross-cultural perspectives”. The purpose is to give insight into exemplary studies which incorporate various approaches to literacy perspectives.
