Session Submission Type: Symposium
This session explores tools to enhance data collection in literacy coaching research. Focusing on tools like coaching quality checklists, support for the systemic training of coaches, and classroom observation protocols, we aim to deepen the understanding of coaching practices and their impact on teacher/student outcomes. Attendees will learn how to align these tools with specific research goals, adapt them to fit their context, and design their own studies to improve literacy outcomes with minimal resource use.
