Critical Religious Literacy: From Conflict to Convergence

Abstract

In this interactive symposium inspired by the special issue of Critical Religious Literacy, we will delve into the editorial process, context, and content of critical religious literacy(s). Our session will be divided amongst the themes of the issues: autobiographical critical essays, antisemitism/islamophobia, and empirical studies. We will ask each group of papers to offer a collective synthesis of their work as well as reflections on future directions. The discussant will be from the JLR editorial team and will comment on the papers as well as offer some insights about the editorial process.
