| The 2006 annual meeting of the Law and Society Association will take place at the Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, July 6 - 9. Welcome to the LSA 2006 Annual Meeting Submission and On-line Program site. You may view the online program in two different ways: Option 1: Anyone may search the program by clicking the "View the Preliminary Program" link to the left. In this manner you may search and browse the program as a "Guest." Option 2: If you submitted a proposal to the Annual Meeting, you should first log in, using the same login information you used to submit (use the login box at the upper-right). This will allow you to take full advantage of the "My Schedule" features of the site. After you login, click "My Schedule" to see when and where your proposal(s) are scheduled. If you do not remember your login information, use the "Forgot Password" link. THE CALL DEADLINE HAS PASSED (late paper proposals will be accepted only on a space available basis). Send an email to LSA at rose@lawandsociety.org before submitting a late paper Timing of the 2006 Annual Meeting - for those who regularly attend the LSA Annual Meeting it is apparent that the 2006 meeting is scheduled later in the summer than is typical for our North American sited meetings. This is a one-time experiment. The Trustees chose this year to respond to the frequently expressed concerns of scholars from elsewhere in the world that LSA's typical late May/early June meeting conflicts severely with their academic schedules and makes participation difficult. The experiment is to determine whether international participation is enhanced without risk to domestic participation in a mid-summer meeting. For additional information visit the LSA 2006 Annual Meeting Site. |
