How Do Voters Evaluate Politicians with Children? An Experimental Analysis of Voter Perceptions

Brief Overview

Using a survey experiment, we find that politicians with kids are evaluated differently by respondents than those without, and that whether their kids go to private or public school shapes perceptions of the politicians’ support for social policy.
