How to Use (and not to Use) Latent Variable Scores in Regression Analysis

Brief Overview

We evaluate 3 different approaches to estimating regressions with latent variables scores. We discuss when they produce qualitatively similar results and when they diverge, particularly in the fields of human rights and democratic transitions.
