Islamism and Raison D’état, A Case Study: Iran after the Islamic Revolution

Brief Overview

In this paper, I attempt to draw the complex map of relationship between Islamism and nationalism after the 1979 Revolution. I will argue that the Islamist ideology of the Iranian regime has gradually become more nationalistic.
