Corruption, Inequality, and Government Response to Protest in Autocracies

Brief Overview

We posit that when corruption is low, reduction in inequality will produce the decrease in the likelihood of repression against protest in autocracies, but when corruption is high, repression will happen regardless of the level of inequality.
