Prosocial Politics: A Theory of Political Engagement and Public Opinion

Brief Overview

In this paper, I argue that prosociality is a core part of how individuals perceive and engage in politics. I then pilot test a novel measurement of prosocial political preferences, and discuss its validity and relationships with other variables.
