Does School-Based Management Affect Population Movement and Educational Outputs in Japan?

Brief Overview

We analyze the effects of School-Based Management in Japan. By using the data of Hokkaido prefecture, we show that Community Schools −one type of SBM− increased population and discussing education, but had no significant effect on test scores.
