Utilizing National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) data from 2003-2015, this poster session focuses on the changes in mathematics performance of English Learners (ELs), non-ELs, and multilingual students, a group of students that includes both current and former ELs. Results indicate that while ELs have demonstrated small increases in fourth- and eighth-grade mathematics scores, multilingual students’ scores have increased significantly over time.
