Stories of Servant Leadership in Action

Thu, October 20, 3:00 to 4:10pm, Graduate Hotel - Cincinnati, Corn Hole

Session Submission Type: Symposium/Panel Presentation

Abstract

School leaders are challenged to lead their schools through issues that few people could anticipate. While most sitting principals do not have formal training related to servant leadership, many have a natural tendency to support servant behaviors. This session is about various stories related to servant leadership demonstrated in practice. School leaders model leadership characteristics that inspire students, faculty, community and external partners. Learn how these stories can be used in principal preparation programs and related teaching situations.
