Abstract

Participatory investigation of teaching basic skills in mindfulness to pre-service educators (e.g., pre-service university students) and investigation of impact as measured by self-reports of mindful awareness and emotional regulation as well as evidence (or lack of) teacher candidates’ report of self-initiation of the use of learned mindfulness strategies in their own field experiences, classes, and daily life.
