Summary

Nature-based education supports flourishing in neurodivergent children who have negative school experiences. However, consideration (and additional research) is needed to ensure that practitioners create affirming environments. We will analyse recent research, critically discuss how environmental education research can be influenced by critical neurodiversity studies, and co-develop recommendations for research.
