Session Submission Type: Hands-on Presentation
Climate change exerts a profound impact on mental health. Youth are particularly vulnerable, confronted with a lifetime of climate repercussions. Participants in this session will learn how to cultivate a sense of community, incorporate trauma-informed practices, connect students with nature, nurture constructive hope, and develop self-regulation and positive coping mechanisms.
