SC 08: Exploring the Health of the MA-Only Program

Abstract

This short course will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about and discuss the unique issues, problems and opportunities arising in the Communication graduate programs who only offer the Master’s degree. Issues will include: recruitment, admission decisions, curricular issues, exit requirements, relationship to doctoral programs, and career opportunities for Master’s graduates. While the course is designed for faculty and administrators in MA-only programs, all interested parties are welcome.
