Session Submission Type: Panel Discussion
Although we have scholarship detailing how philosophical, pedagogical, political, and socioeconomic circumstances have shaped and are shaped by the theory and practice of rhetoric in different places and times, scholars have not given sufficient attention to religion as a force shaping and shaped by rhetorical theory and practice. The panel aims to address this by exploring relationships between rhetoric and religion in different time periods, places, and practices.
