This study focused on examining cognitive and attitudinal responses of adolescents to two media literacy anti-smoking interventions. The study design consisted of a repeated measure non-equivalent control group experimental design. Results showed an overall support for analysis + production workshop in eliciting more attention and positive workshop perceptions than analysis + analysis workshop. The analysis + production workshop was also successful in reducing smoking attitude over time. Implications and directions for future research are discussed.
