"Patriots” in the Classroom: Discussions and Dissent Post 9-11

Abstract

This panel of eight, seasoned professors from universities across the USA, representing a range of communication courses and inter/national perspectives, will create a round table discussion about how they create openings for principled, vigorous, democratic classroom dialogue in a post 9-11 era where both employee and citizen dissent are under attack as threats to productivity and patriotism .
